Service Refund Policy

At Oak & Ember Tradeworks, LLC, we stand behind the quality of our workmanship. Because most of our services involve custom labor, materials, or on-site visits, refunds are generally not offered once work has been completed or materials have been ordered.

However, we do offer the following guarantees and exceptions:

If You’re Not Satisfied with Our Work:

If you believe our work is incomplete or not in line with what was agreed upon in writing, please contact us within 7 days of service completion. We will review your concern and, if necessary, return to make reasonable corrections at no additional charge.

Cancellations & Deposits

🔹 Estimates / Consultations

• Consultation fee includes a trip charge and is non-refundable. If you choose to hire Oak & Ember for services, 50% of Consultation fee goes back to your project budget. 

🔹 Service Appointments

• You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours in advance at no cost.

• Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a $50 late cancellation fee, especially if materials were prepared or time was reserved.

🔹 Custom Projects / Fabrication

• Projects requiring custom fabrication or materials may require a non-refundable deposit (typically 25–50%) to secure materials and production time.

• If a custom project is canceled after materials are ordered or work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable.

Refunds for Overpayment or Errors

If you accidentally overpay or are charged in error, we will promptly issue a full refund of the excess amount once verified.

Warranty on Work

We offer a 30-day warranty on most services unless otherwise noted in your agreement. This covers issues resulting from labor defects but does not cover damage due to misuse, external factors, or materials beyond our control.
